What you'll do...
Role summary:The Manager, Site Merchandising, serves as the Marketplace Lead for cross-site Seasonal Campaigns, representing Marketplace priorities and driving assortment integration across key campaigns and customer experiences. This role leads strategic planning and execution with cross-functional stakeholders while overseeing assortment and list management, campaign launches, and site performance. Leveraging data, market insights, and collaboration, the Manager identifies opportunities to increase traffic, customer engagement, and GMV while driving the growth and success of key initiatives and special projects. Success requires strategic thinking, strong communication, stakeholder influence, and agility to translate evolving business priorities into actionable plans and measurable results.
About the team:
The Marketplace Events Team acts as a strategic link between Marketplace and the broader Walmart site, enhancing visibility, customer engagement, and performance throughout the customer journey. The team leads cross-functional alignment, strategic planning, and end-to-end execution with key stakeholders and enterprise partners to position Marketplace competitively during critical moments and experiences that matter most to the customer. Through seasonal campaigns, omni-channel events, and unique Marketplace initiatives, the team integrates strategy, assortment, activation, and optimization to increase exposure, drive traffic and GMV, and support Marketplace growth. This team plays a vital role in delivering impactful customer experiences across Walmart.com.
What you'll do:
- Plan, execute, manage, and optimize cross site campaigns and seasonal events for Marketplace teams.
- Partner closely with internal teams including Seller Growth, Central and Category Site Ops, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Strategic Programs to maximize GMV opportunities by identifying and establishing guidelines for Marketplace assortment integration.
- Align strategy, communication, and process between Marketplace and Central Site Ops teams
- Maintain and organize campaign-specific materials.
- Define and communicate annual campaign calendar with milestones and deliverables for all major campaigns and events., including but not limited to plan creation and execution with Campaigns and Events teams.
- Manage the day-to-day campaign maintenance, optimizations and operations.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in site merchandising, assortment optimization, and leveraging data, digital tools, and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive business performance.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging customer analytics, market research, and reporting tools to drive data-informed decisions.
- Ability to develop and execute category strategies and business plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate across teams and present complex information clearly.
- Experience managing product launches, campaigns, and site structure optimization with SEO best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring, and fostering team development.
- Proficiency in digital merchandising, business planning, and process improvement initiatives.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $169,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
