The Opportunity:Ā 

Mattel is seeking aĀ Principal Enterprise Architect – Supply ChainĀ to define and drive theĀ enterprise technology strategy across our global supply chain ecosystem.

This role is for aĀ forward-thinking architect and strategic leaderĀ with deep expertise inĀ ERP platforms and end-to-end supply chain domains, includingĀ planning, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, PLM, and MDM. You will play a critical role in shaping the future-state architecture, modernizing legacy systems, and enabling aĀ data-driven, intelligent, and resilient supply chain.

What Your Impact Will Be:Ā 

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

  • Define and lead theĀ enterprise architecture vision and roadmapĀ for Supply Chain technology across Mattel
  • AlignĀ ERP, supply chain platforms, and digital capabilitiesĀ with business strategy and transformation goals
  • EstablishĀ architecture standards, governance, and reference modelsĀ across the supply chain landscape

ERP & Supply Chain Transformation

  • Serve as theĀ architecture leader for ERP transformation initiativesĀ (Oracle Cloud preferred)
  • DesignĀ future-state architectureĀ integrating ERP with planning, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution systems
  • Drive modernization towardĀ cloud-native, composable, and integrated platforms

Supply Chain Domain Leadership

  • Provide deep architectural expertise across:
    • Supply Chain Planning (demand, supply, S&OP)
    • Manufacturing & shop floor systems
    • Logistics, warehousing, and distribution
    • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
    • Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Ensure seamlessĀ end-to-end process integration and data flowĀ across all domains

Data, Integration & Intelligence

  • ArchitectĀ scalable data and integration frameworks, including APIs, event-driven systems, and EDI
  • EnableĀ real-time visibility, analytics, and intelligent decision-makingĀ across the supply chain
  • Support adoption ofĀ AI/ML use casesĀ such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply risk management

Leadership & Influence

  • Act as aĀ trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing key technology and investment decisions
  • LeadĀ architecture reviews, roadmap planning, and risk assessments
  • Mentor and guide aĀ small team of architects and engineers, fostering strong technical and leadership capabilities
  • Collaborate across business, IT, and external partners to deliver aligned outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

  • 12+ years of experience inĀ enterprise architecture and ERP solutions, with deep focus on supply chain
  • Strong expertise acrossĀ planning, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, PLM, and MDM domains
  • Proven experience leadingĀ ERP transformations (Oracle Cloud strongly preferred)

Technical Strength

  • Deep understanding ofĀ ERP architecture, integrations, and data flows
  • Experience withĀ cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Strong knowledge ofĀ EDI integrations, data platforms, and supply chain analytics

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven ability toĀ lead, influence, and communicate with executive stakeholders
  • StrongĀ presentation and storytelling skills, able to translate complex architecture into business value
  • ExperienceĀ mentoring and developing high-performing teams

15-20% travel is required
