Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
EPBCS Application Design & DevelopmentÂ
Design and implement EPBCS applications covering:Â
Financial Planning (Revenue, Expense, OPEX, CAPEX)Â
Workforce PlanningÂ
Capital Asset PlanningÂ
Profitability and Cost Allocation modelsÂ
Configure:Â
Cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, and metadataÂ
Forms, dashboards, and task listsÂ
Business rules and validation logicÂ
Â
Business Rule Development & AutomationÂ
Develop and maintain calculation logic using:Â
Business Rules (Calculation Manager)Â
Groovy scripts (for validation and automation)Â
Implement:Â
AllocationsÂ
Driver-based planningÂ
Currency conversionsÂ
Forecasting modelsÂ
Optimize calculation performance and data processing efficiency.Â
Â
Data Integration & ManagementÂ
Manage data integrations between EPBCS and source systems (ERP, Data Warehouses).Â
Work with:Â
Data Management (FDMEE / EPM Data Integration)Â
Smart Push / Data MapsÂ
REST APIs (where applicable)Â
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.Â
Â
Reporting & AnalysisÂ
Build and support financial reports and dashboards using:Â
Smart View (Excel-based reporting)Â
Management reports / Financial reporting toolsÂ
Support ad-hoc analysis for FP&A teams and business users.Â
Â
Production Support & EnhancementsÂ
Provide L2/L3 support for EPBCS applications.Â
Troubleshoot application, data, and performance issues.Â
Support monthly/quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles.Â
Handle enhancements, change requests, and system improvements.Â
Â
Business CollaborationÂ
Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Business stakeholders.Â
Translate business requirements into EPBCS design and configurations.Â
Facilitate requirement gathering, solution design, and UAT support.Â
Â
Testing & DeploymentÂ
Lead testing activities including:Â
Unit testingÂ
System integration testingÂ
UAT supportÂ
Manage migrations across environments (DEV / TEST / PROD).Â
Ensure proper documentation of releases and changes.Â
Â
Governance & DocumentationÂ
Maintain functional and technical design documents.Â
Ensure compliance with financial governance and audit requirements.Â
Support change management and release processes.Â
Qualifications
Required Skills & QualificationsÂ
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.Â
3–5 years of experience in Oracle EPM / Hyperion / EPBCS implementations.Â
Strong hands-on experience in:Â
EPBCS configuration and administrationÂ
Financial planning and forecasting modelsÂ
Business rules and calculation logicÂ
Strong understanding of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).Â
Experience with:Â
Data integration tools (FDMEE / Data Management)Â
Smart View reportingÂ
Metadata and dimensional modelingÂ
Â
Preferred SkillsÂ
Experience with **Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service implementations.Â
Knowledge of Groovy scripting in EPM Cloud.Â
Exposure to Essbase architecture and optimization.Â
Experience with REST APIs and automation.Â
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.Â
Experience in Agile project environments.Â
