Responsible for ensuring that medical equipment is safe and effective through collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Also responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing new technologies or procedures.

Essential Functions
-Developing, testing, and implementing new technologies in clinical settings.
-Troubleshooting problems with equipment or processes to identify their causes and solutions.
-Establishing and maintaining standards for operating equipment according to industry guidelines.
-Maintaining records of equipment use and condition, as well as identifying problems and making recommendations for repairs or replacement.
-Performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
-Designing, developing, installing, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment such as ventilators, endoscopy equipment, ultrasound machines, and radiation therapy devices.
