 • RN’s: 6:30a- 5:00p, 7:30a- 8:00p or 7:30a-6:00pÂ

 Charting system:
 • RN’s paper chart.Â

 Call schedule:
 • Call schedule is based off how many days off the month there are and how much staff we have to cover it. It is not optional, mandatory.Â
 • RN’s- mandatory and can be up to 14 days of call including weekends.

 What certifications do they need?
 • RN’s need to be AHA BLS and ACLS.Â
 o PALS preferred but not mandatory.

 Floating:Â
 • Interventional Holding (IVH) - floating:
 o IVH is a pre and post care unit for cath lab. This is where patients come to before they go back to the cath lab.
 o Travelers could be floated to this unit.
 o Floating to IVH would be necessary to help get patients ready for caths and post care. IVH has assigned nurses; however, with cases that are add-ons and STEMIs it is necessary at times to work in IVH. This would include: starting IV’s, drawing labs, H&P, post care for sheaths and devices, etc.Â
