Role Overview
MAS is seeking anAutomation Engineer (Mid Level) to support the delivery ofindustrial automation and control systems across projects inenergy, power systems, and industrial environments.
The role combinesPLC/SCADA engineering, system integration, and commissioning, with active involvement across the full project lifecycle — fromdesign and programming totesting, deployment, and field execution. You will work onreal-world, high-impact systems, contributing to reliable and efficient automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions (PLC/SCADA), including control logic, system architecture, and functional specifications.
- Program and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, ensuring proper functionality, performance, and system integration.
- Supportsystem integration and communication setup, including industrial networks, protocols, and interfaces with third-party systems.
- Participate intesting, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities, executing system validation, functional testing, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability during both project execution and operation.
- Prepare and maintaintechnical documentation (functional descriptions, test procedures, as-built documentation) and support project handover.
- Collaborate withelectrical, software, and project teams, contributing to timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Degree inElectrical / Automation / Electronic Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems.
- Experience withPLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley).
- Familiarity withSCADA/HMI systems and industrial environments.
- Understanding ofcontrol systems and electrical fundamentals.
- Exposure tocommissioning or field work.
- Strongproblem-solving skills and good command ofEnglish.
- Availability fortravel.
Will be considered a strong asset:
- Experience withindustrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
- Involvement inenergy or power-related projects (e.g., substations, generation).
- Familiarity withIIoT / data acquisition systems.
- Experience withSiemens ecosystem (e.g., TIA Portal) or similar tools.
