Transition Manager

SOSi International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Transition Manager for short term work to support transition requirements on a services contract in Doha, Qatar.

Essential Job Duties:

• Prepare, coordinate, and manage operational activities for demobilization and transition to close out a services program.
• Manage transition activities in accordance with the program’s transition plan.
• Track critical resources and functions, and recommend priorities.
• Coordinate activities across the corporate and program management office staff in support of the mission.
• Communicate significant activities, issues, and new requirements to management.
• Track transition progress.
• Coordinate with SOSi, USG, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and contract deliverables.
• Support other initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience may be substituted.
• 8 years of experience providing program operations support with 2 years of experience supporting a U.S. Government customer overseas.
• Experience transitioning overseas programs.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in the last 10 years.
• Proficient written and verbal communicator.
• Familiarity with the Maximo asset management system.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Work Environment:

• Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
• Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
