Youth RISE Foundation (Resources • Inspiration • Service • Empowerment) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through leadership development, mentorship, education, workforce readiness, healthcare career exploration, civic engagement, and community impact initiatives.

We are seeking a creative and strategicMarketing & Communications Manager to lead the Foundation's branding, marketing, communications, and public engagement efforts while increasing awareness of our mission and programs.

Overview

The Marketing & Communications Manager provides strategic marketing and communications support on a per diem basis. This role develops and executes marketing campaigns, manages digital communications, supports public relations initiatives, and promotes the Foundation's programs, events, and community impact. The position is remote until the opening of the Youth RISE Community Center, after which assignments may transition to an in-person or hybrid work environment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies.
• Create content for social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and the Foundation's website.
• Design and coordinate promotional materials for programs and events.
• Support media relations, press releases, and public awareness campaigns.
• Promote fundraising initiatives and community engagement efforts.
• Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with program teams to highlight organizational achievements and impact.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms.
• Assist with photography, videography, and event marketing as needed.
• Perform other marketing and communications duties based on organizational priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in marketing, communications, branding, or public relations.
• Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
• Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with marketing and design platforms is preferred.
