āThe Lawn and Plant Healthcare Manager is responsible monitoring the health of all plants and greenscapes, watering and feeding plants and fertilizing lawns. You should know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, including fertilizing equipment and spraying equipment, while following health and safety regulations.Ā
Responsibilities and DutiesĀ
Manage the daily operations of crews or technicians.Ā Ā
Make sure all crews have all equipment and/or materials for daily jobsĀ
Make sure all crews understand what they are supposed to do for their daily jobsĀ
Keep crews on budget and up to date with changes. Communicate internally any changes to schedules as quickly as possibleĀ
Prior to jobs occurring, contact Client Representatives regarding questions that need answered.Ā If site walkthroughs are necessary, schedule them.Ā
Update Client Representatives on status of jobs and/or if there are issuesĀ
24 Hour rule on responding to Client Reps on a bid review request.Ā Ā
Learn to use Microsoft Teams, e-mail and phone to review as many proposals as possible remotely.Ā Set meetings when you need to go over things face to faceĀ
Use your resources to estimate things that you are not familiar with.Ā
Use subcontractors to get #ās that are out of crew scopeĀ
Job RequirementsĀ
Proficient in the following: identification of lawn, plants, insects and disease.
Knowledge of navigating the internet, proficiency in Office Suite, working knowledge of estimating software and job costing softwareĀ
Working knowledge of use and maintenance for lawn fertilizing equipment and sprayersĀ
Natural leader and problem solver with a demonstrated sound work ethic.Ā
Confident and professional at all times.Ā
Experience with collaboration and critical thinking exercises.Ā
Demonstrated time management and dexterity.Ā
Comfortable processing terminations and providing technical assistance.Ā
