Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the US Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance project portfolio.
Develop project charters, governance models, and performance reporting frameworks.
Drive change adoption across strategic transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
Lead process optimization workshops to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish and implement continuous improvement frameworks across Patient Safety operations.
Identify improvement opportunities through benchmarking and best practice evaluation.
Drive digital enablement, automation, and innovation initiatives across the organization.
Evaluate and govern artificial intelligence use cases in regulated environments.
Ensure alignment between local priorities and global Patient Safety initiatives.
Oversee regulatory procedures, intelligence activities, and health authority query management.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline.
Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 3 years of pharmacovigilance experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization industry.
Proven experience leading projects, programs, or operational excellence initiatives.
Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities across complex organizations.
Experience driving process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies.
Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance environments.
Experience using digital and data-driven tools to support operational decision making and innovation.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $119,700 and $223,000 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
