Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: San Diego, CA 91942(Must be able to float to nearby San Diego area facilities)
Job Type: 26-Week Contract(Extension Possible)
Schedule: M-F| 8-Hour Day Shifts(7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Local: $65 - $75/hr
Travel Pay: $2,800-$3,150 Gross Weekly

Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedMammography Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with state and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Float to other San Diego area facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• ActiveCalifornia Mammography (Mammo) License
• ARRT (M) Certification
• Completion of aformal Mammography education program (proof required)
• Minimum200 mammography studies completed within the last 2 years
• Minimum15 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in Breast Imaging within the last 3 years
• Experience performingScreening and Diagnostic Mammography
