The Facility Services team ensures Walmart locations operate safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Utilizing multiple craft skills, including plumbing, the team maintains facility functionality and appearance. They collaborate with management and contractors to uphold quality and safety standards while addressing repair needs promptly. Committed to continuous improvement, compliance, and integrity, the team creates a dependable environment for associates and customers. Their proactive approach supports operational excellence and reliable upkeep of Walmart facilities across the network, ensuring a safe and well-maintained workplace.
What you'll do:

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools.
Document maintenance activities, repair needs, and capital expense information accurately.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet quality and safety standards.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution or escalation as needed.
Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with management and team members to improve processes and maintain a safe work environment.

What you'll bring:

Proven experience in plumbing and facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and fixtures.
Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with management and contractors.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
