Now we’re looking for a Platform Manager – M365 to join our passionate team and help us shape the future of food and beverages. You will be based in Helsinki, Finland and report to the Head of IT – Infrastructure & EUS and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe.  

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine service ownership, vendor management, technology understanding and business collaboration while working closely with both internal stakeholders and external service partners. 

Your responsibilities 

The role consists of two key responsibility areas: 

Microsoft 365 Platform Management 

You will act as the service owner for Paulig's Microsoft 365 environment and related digital workplace services. 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Developing and maintaining the Microsoft 365 service roadmap 

• Managing strategic service partners and ensuring services are delivered according to agreed SLAs and KPIs 

• Driving continuous service improvements and adoption of new capabilities 

• Ensuring a high-quality end-user experience across Microsoft 365 services 

• Coordinating user communication, awareness and training activities 

• Managing service performance, risks and improvement initiatives 

• Collaborating with infrastructure, architecture, cybersecurity and other needed teams 

• Managing service-related budgets, forecasts and cost follow-up 

• Acting as the key point of contact between business stakeholders, service providers and IT teams 

Software Asset & Licensing Management 

You will also be responsible for the governance of end-user software licensing and outsourced Software Asset Management (SAM) services. 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Managing the external Software Asset Management service provider 

• Supporting software licensing governance and compliance processes 

• Monitoring license utilization and optimization opportunities 

• Participating in software contract and renewal discussions 

• Supporting budgeting and forecasting related to end-user software licensing 

• Maintaining visibility of software asset and license position across the organization 

• Working closely with procurement, finance, service providers and software vendors when required 

What will help you succeed 

At Paulig, operational Microsoft 365 services and Software Asset Management activities are delivered primarily through experienced external service partners. 

Therefore, success in this role is not about being the deepest technical expert in every technology area. Instead, success comes from understanding services, building strong relationships, driving continuous improvements and ensuring our partners deliver high-quality outcomes. 

We are looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in Microsoft technologies, service management or digital workplace services and who is motivated to further develop their expertise and take ownership of a broad and business-critical area. 

What we are looking for 

You may be a great fit for this role if you have: 

• Experience working with Microsoft 365, Digital Workplace, End-User Services or similar technology platforms 

• Experience in service management, vendor management, platform ownership or related roles 

• Understanding of IT service delivery and continuous improvement 

• Experience with budget follow-up, forecasting, licensing management or cost control 

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

• A customer-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in improving end-user experience 

• Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical specialists 

• Sufficient technical understanding to discuss solutions, challenge service providers and support decision-making 

It would be beneficial if you also have experience with 

• Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Intune 

• Microsoft licensing models and licensing governance 

• Basic understanding of Power Platform services, including Power BI 

• Microsoft Entra ID and identity-related concepts 

• Software Asset Management processes and tools 

• End-user communication, training and adoption activities 

• ITIL or other service management frameworks
