Lead Automation Tester (C++)

We are looking for aLead Automation Tester to drive automation strategy and quality execution across a complex game development lifecycle. You will lead a small specialist team, partner closely with engineers, and expand automated test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and test plans across the development lifecycle
• Lead automation strategy and prioritize technical test objectives for quality standards
• Maintain and expand automated test suites and test automation frameworks
• Execute and oversee regression cycles, including targeted manual playthroughs when needed
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues with engineers to speed up resolution
• Manage defect lifecycle and drive alignment on high-priority fixes
• Coach and mentor a small technical QA team on tools and best practices
• Communicate test findings and risks clearly to engineering and production stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing and/or scripting
• 1+ years of leadership experience in test planning, QA best practices, and mentorship
• Proficiency in C++
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and JUnit
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency

Nice to have

• CI/CD experience with systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or Horde
• Game testing experience across multiple lifecycle phases for AAA titles
• Python scripting experience
• TestRail experience for test case management
• Unreal Engine experience
