Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical roadmap for scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure supporting OTP services
• Lead the automation strategy for deployment, monitoring, and management of .NET applications in Windows environments
• Define standards and best practices for CI/CD pipelines across .NET applications using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers, conducting code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and product leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and ensure seamless delivery of OTP solutions
• Establish observability, SLO/SLI frameworks, and incident management practices to ensure OTP services remain highly available and reliable
• Drive the adoption and governance of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar
• Oversee Windows server fleet management, including configuration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle strategy
• Champion compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements for authentication systems, and lead audits and remediation efforts
• Establish and maintain documentation standards for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures
• Lead on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement of production systems and processes
• Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and processes to continuously improve engineering efficiency and platform reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS, .NET, and Windows environments
• 1+ years of proven experience leading teams or technical initiatives
• Expert-level hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) and cloud architecture design
• Deep expertise in deploying and managing .NET applications on Windows servers at scale
• Extensive experience designing and governing CI/CD ecosystems (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Advanced understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, patterns, and tools (CloudFormation, Terraform), including reusable module design and governance
• Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Proven experience defining observability strategies with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices for authentication and identity management systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex incidents, root-cause analyses, and cross-team technical decisions
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities
• Excellent command of English (B2+ level), both written and spoken, with a strong emphasis on technical communication skills

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience architecting solutions for OTP, MFA, or authentication systems
• Experience leading containerization initiatives (Docker, Kubernetes) in Windows environments
• Advanced knowledge of networking, firewalls, and load balancers in AWS
• Experience establishing automated testing and deployment strategies for .NET applications
• Experience operating within and shaping Agile/Scrum practices at a team or organizational level
