Lead DevOps Engineer

We're currently seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to become part of our team. Your focus will be on sustaining dependable, scalable infrastructure along with existing CI/CD pipelines built on Azure, helping strengthen system reliability and operational effectiveness

Responsibilities

• Keep watch over and preserve the reliability, uptime, and performance levels of production environments
• Sustain and enhance infrastructure-as-code configurations running on Azure
• Oversee container orchestration through Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Provide support, diagnose issues, and update existing CI/CD pipelines built in GitHub Actions, expanding them as project demands shift
• Provide ongoing support and upkeep for Azure Functions handling serverless workloads
• Provide ongoing support and upkeep for Azure Search (Azure AI Search) implementations
• Handle identity and access governance leveraging Managed Identity and Azure RBAC
• Sustain observability infrastructure spanning monitoring, logging, and alerting via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Implement security best practices while overseeing secrets management and access permissions across environments
• Produce documentation covering systems and operational runbooks while working in close partnership with engineering teams

Requirements

• Five-plus years of practical, relevant experience within SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering positions
• No less than one year spent guiding and managing engineering teams
• Applied experience working across Azure services, including VMs, networking, storage, and identity/RBAC setup
• Background using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep/ARM templates
• Direct experience with AKS and Docker for managing and orchestrating containers
• Experience constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions
• Capable scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Go, or Bash to support automation efforts
• Background working with observability tooling such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Solid grasp of Linux/Windows system fundamentals and core networking concepts
• Strong English communication ability, with working fluency at B2 level or above, supporting clear understanding of business needs and their translation into technical solutions
