Demand Forecaster - HYBRID

Job Description

The Demand Forecaster plays a critical role withinReplenishment; responsible for creating gross demand sales plans and managing the productivity of replenishment assortmentsto align with customer and product strategies.This role partners closely with Replenishment Associates and Buying and Planning teams to ensureaccurate forecasts, inventoryefficiency and in-stock performance. 

A Day in the Life… 

• Collaborate with Replenishment Associates andMerchant partners to create demand forecasts that alignwith customer demand, merchandise strategy,and financial goals. 

• Drivepre-seasonplanning by providing data-driven recommendations,scenarioplanning, and actionable strategies. 

• Proactivelyidentify and communicate risks, opportunities, and insights related to item performance and inventory health. 

• Drive continuous improvement in forecastaccuracy,inventory efficiency, and process improvement through analysis and cross-functional collaboration. 

• Participate in key business meetings (e.g., strategy reviews, style outs) torepresent the forecasting perspective. 

• Maintainaccurate item attributes and default settings to support forecast integrity. 

You Own This If You Have… 

• 2 + years of experience in retailmerchandiseplanning, inventory management, orrelated field. 

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a focus on outcomes and solutions.  Statisticsproficiencypreferred. 

• Experiencemanaging high-SKU, high-revenue,and/or seasonal categories. 

• Demonstrated ability toinfluence across teams using data and insights. 

• A customer-first mindset and a strong understanding of the retail environment. 

• Ability toproactively and effectivelycommunicate with cross-functionalandexternalpartners. 

• A growth mindset, embracing change and continuous improvement. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Planning, andForecasting tools;adaptability to new tools and processes.
