Job Overview

We are looking for anAssociate Business Intelligence Analyst – AI/GenAI to join our growing AI and digital technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career technology professional to gain hands-on experience inArtificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Python, LLMs, data, APIs, and enterprise applications.

You will work closely with experienced AI engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop AI-powered solutions. You will contribute to applications such asAI assistants, chatbots, knowledge solutions, and intelligent enterprise applications.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate aboutAI/GenAI, software development, data, and emerging technologies and wants to build a career in enterprise AI.

What You Will Do

• Assist in developingAI/ML and Generative AI solutions for real-world business use cases.
• Work with senior engineers to buildLLM-based applications, chatbots, AI assistants, and knowledge solutions.
• Develop Python scripts, applications, APIs, and AI solution components.
• Gain hands-on experience withprompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and LLM integration.
• Work with structured and unstructured data for basic data preparation and analysis.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications usingREST APIs and other integration technologies.
• Support testing, debugging, performance improvement, and deployment of AI applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and software development teams to createsimple and user-friendly AI experiences.
• Support AI-enabled capabilities within enterprise portals such asLiferay.
• Contribute to responsive web interfaces usingHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation.
• Follow enterprise standards related tosecurity, data privacy, responsible AI, and software development.

Qualifications You Must Have

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech inComputer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML, data science, or a related area.
• Good working knowledge ofPython.
• Basic understanding ofAI/ML, NLP, Generative AI, and LLM concepts.
• Basic understanding ofprompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
• Understanding ofREST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration.
• Basic knowledge ofSQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software development fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge ofGit/version control.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Exposure toLangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
• Exposure to LLM-based applications, chatbots, or AI assistants.
• Understanding ofmodel evaluation, accuracy, hallucinations, and responsible AI.
• Exposure to vector databases and semantic search.
• Basic knowledge ofLiferay Portal/DXP or enterprise web applications.
• Understanding of Liferay concepts such as portlets, widgets, sites, pages, content management, roles, and permissions.
• Experience integrating applications with Liferay or other enterprise platforms using REST APIs.
• Knowledge ofHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Exposure to Agile development and collaborative software engineering practices.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
