Why This Role Exists

The Media Buyer, Paid Social is responsible for bringing growth strategies to life through exceptional execution on Meta.



Working closely with a Growth Strategist, you’ll build, launch, optimize, and scale paid social campaigns that drive profitable growth for our clients. You’ll combine strong platform expertise with analytical thinking to make informed optimization decisions, uncover opportunities through data, and continuously improve campaign performance.

Working in Complex Advertising Environments

Many of our clients operate in highly regulated or policy-constrained categories, including hemp-derived cannabinoids, cannabis-adjacent products, telehealth services, GLP-1s, peptides, supplements, and functional wellness products.

What You’ll Own

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns across a portfolio of DTC ecommerce clients.
  • Execute testing plans across audiences, creatives, placements, budgets, and campaign structures.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven optimization decisions that improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage campaign budgets and pacing while maintaining alignment with client performance goals.
  • Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues, tracking discrepancies, and platform-related challenges.

Performance Analysis

  • Analyze campaign performance using Meta Ads Manager and supporting analytics platforms.
  • Identify trends across creative, messaging, audiences, offers, and funnel performance.
  • Understandwhy creative is succeeding or underperforming, using performance data to generate actionable insights.
  • Monitor key performance metrics including MER, aMER, CAC, bCAC, CPA, CPM, and other leading indicators.
  • Prepare performance updates and reporting for internal stakeholders and client-facing meetings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Growth Strategists to execute paid media strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Creative teams by providing data-backed recommendations for new concepts, messaging angles, hooks, offers, and creative testing opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas during creative strategy discussions while helping ensure creative testing aligns with account priorities.
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding campaign performance, blockers, and opportunities.
  • Participate in client calls as needed and communicate confidently in written client updates.

  • Use data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve performance over time.

What You Bring to the Table

Required

  • 3+ years of experience managing Meta advertising for DTC ecommerce brands.
  • Agency experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience managing six-figure monthly Meta advertising budgets.
  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager, campaign structure, audience strategy, and optimization best practices.
  • Experience working with Shopify and/or WooCommerce ecommerce brands.
  • Ability to analyze creative performance and identify the drivers behind winning and losing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and make informed optimization decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort participating in client meetings when needed.
  • Experience working successfully in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience working with third-party attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, or similar.
  • Experience advertising within policy-constrained wellness industries, including hemp, cannabis, telehealth (GLP-1s, peptides), supplements, and functional wellness.
  • Experience managing campaigns on TikTok, X, or Snapchat.
  • Familiarity with GA4 and ecommerce analytics.
  • Experience collaborating closely with creative teams on performance marketing initiatives.
