A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient or group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care for these patients thorough therapeutic use of self, the patient care/problem solving or nursing process; through the environment/instrumentation; and through other health care team members.Education: â–ª Preferred: High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience: â–ª Required: 6 months endo experienceSkills: â–ª Excellent verbal and written communication skills â–ª Strong analytical/problem solving skills â–ª Able to work in an organized mannerLicensure/Certification/Registration: â–ª Preferred: Certified through the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA)
