What You’ll Be Part Of
As Molding Tooling Technician, you will provide hands-on support to the workshop area by repairing high-tolerance molds, performing preventive and corrective mold maintenance, providing technical solutions for mold repairs, and supporting safe, organized, and reliable tooling operations.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Perform corrective mold maintenance to support production continuity and tooling performance.
- Repair high-tolerance molds and provide effective technical solutions for mold repair needs.
- Execute preventive mold maintenance activities according to workshop and production requirements.
- Support mold construction activities, including cavities, cores, inserts, and related tooling components.
- Implement engineering changes on molds and tooling components as required.
- Maintain and repair electrical and hydraulic mold systems.
- Use precision tools and workshop equipment to complete tooling maintenance and repair activities.
- Clean and maintain hot runner tooling systems.
- Perform grinding, lathe, welding, and polishing activities related to mold repair and maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace by following 5S standards.

What Makes You A Strong Fit
- At least 5 years of experience in a plastic injection mold workshop.
- Experience working with molds, valve gates, and hot runner systems.
- Experience using wire EDM machines, CNC equipment, grinding machines, and milling machines.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to handle hand tools and precision tooling equipment.
- Forklift handling and operation experience.
- High school education.
- Basic English.

Things To Know
- Availability for shift change if required by the company.
- This role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires availability to work according to assigned production schedules and operational needs.
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
- If the position requires use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle, employment may be contingent upon meeting applicable driving record requirements.
