Locums Psychiatrist

We have an opportunity for a skilled Psychiatrist to provide locum tenens coverage.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8a-5p

• Call: On call shifts 2 weekend calls per month; weekend call is Friday after 5 PM to Monday morning at 8 AM

• While client prefers full time availability, we will get consideration for 2 week/month players

• Provider should be willing to work major holidays or at least some of them: Thanksgiving, XMas, New Years Day

Additional:

• Patient Population: General Adult, mood disorders- tends to be more on the acute end of the spectrum, no neurodivergent population on this unit

• Patient Census: 22-bed unit, plan for 2 Mds on unit per day, so 10-11 patients per MD per day

• Support staff: team environment, solid support staff from nursing to advanced practitioners, therapists on unit too and any other service providers required per patient needs.

• EMR: Sunrise

• Board Certification highly preferred
