The OpportunityÂ
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with NDIS participants to improve their functional capacity, independence and overall wellbeing through evidence-based, goal-oriented interventions.Â
You will work across a variety of settings including home, community and supported accommodation, collaborating with participants, families, support workers and external stakeholders.Â
This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who values autonomy, flexibility and making a genuine impact.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions in line with NDIS goalsÂ
- Complete functional capacity assessments, reports and recommendations for assistive technology and home modificationsÂ
- Develop, implement and review person-centred therapy plansÂ
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and multidisciplinary teamsÂ
- Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical documentation and reportsÂ
- Provide education, strategies and support to participants and support workersÂ
- Ensure all services align with NDIS Practice Standards and LME Care policiesÂ
What You’ll BringÂ
Qualifications & RegistrationÂ
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or related field)Â
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)Â
- Mental Health Occupational Therapy registration (highly valued)Â
Skills & ExperienceÂ
- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Excellent written skills, including professional report writingÂ
- Ability to build rapport with participants from diverse backgroundsÂ
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS and community-based practiceÂ
- A proactive, flexible and values-driven approach to workÂ
Mandatory RequirementsÂ
- Current AHPRA RegistrationÂ
- National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)Â
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card – QLD)Â
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)Â
- Right to work in AustraliaÂ
