ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for German-speaking Security Engineers to support strategic and operational security initiatives within a large enterprise IT environment. With the growing importance ofAgentic AI, SaaS integrations, and Security-by-Design, additional security expertise is needed to strengthen existing capabilities and accelerate the implementation of security requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with internal security, IT, and business stakeholders acrossinternal IT and internally operated applications, including platforms such as Workday and SAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support strategic and operationalsecurity initiatives across internal IT and internally operated applications, including platforms such as Workday and SAP.

• Assess and address security requirements related toAgentic AI, SaaS integrations, cloud environments, and application security.

• Performthreat modeling, security assessments, and security reviews to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Drive the implementation ofSecurity-by-Design principles throughout the development and integration lifecycle.

• Supportvulnerability management, including the identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.

• Develop and maintainsecurity concepts, technical documentation, and security requirements.

• Provide security consulting to IT, engineering, and business stakeholders and translate security requirements into practical solutions.

• Collaborate with internal security teams and stakeholders to strengthen security controls and accelerate the implementation of security requirements.

• Contribute to the development and implementation ofAI and Agentic AI security practices, where applicable.

• Communicate security risks, findings, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Help identify opportunities to improve security processes, standards, and engineering practices across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Several years of professional experience inSecurity Engineering or a closely related cybersecurity role.

• Strong knowledge ofCloud Security and SaaS Security.

• Practical experience withApplication Security and secure architecture principles.

• Solid experience inThreat Modeling, Security Assessments, and Security Reviews.

• Strong understanding and practical application ofSecurity-by-Design principles.

• Experience withVulnerability Management and security risk assessment.

• Ability to create and maintainsecurity concepts, requirements, and technical documentation.

• Strongsecurity consulting and stakeholder communication skills.

• Ability to work independently on complex security topics and collaborate effectively with different teams.

• Experience working in large or enterprise IT environments is an advantage.

• Knowledge ofAI Security / Agentic AI Security is preferred.

• Fluent German and good English communication skills.

• Senior-level professional experience with the ability to take ownership of security initiatives and provide expert guidance.

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
