PositionSummary:
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Scientific Support Specialist with hands-on experience in microbiological techniques to conduct routine testing and analysis in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in microbiological methods, demonstrate precision in laboratory procedures, and possess strong data analysis capabilities to ensure high-quality results.
JobResponsibilities
- Perform established microbiological test methods in raw materials or finished products, media making and ad-hoc test as assigned.
- Set up and maintain microbiological cultures.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning accurately.
- Document results in Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and upload data into the LIMS system (NEXUS).
- Application of routine and non-routine microbiological test methods.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and manage lab supplies to ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.
- Communicate any issues or abnormalities to R&D personnel and team leaders immediately.
Qualifications andCriteria
- Diploma or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, encouraging a culture of inclusion and excellence.
- Strong attention to detail, meticulous and systematic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds and levels both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
