Role Description:
Join our collaborative Training & Performance Strategy team as a Senior Training Specialist, serving as a strategic partner to business leaders across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with business unit leaders and team members to understand business priorities, identify performance needs, and develop targeted learning strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
You will consult with leaders to assess gaps and translate business objectives into measurable performance-focused learning and development solutions. Partnering with our Design & Development team, you will support the creation and implementation of learning strategies that enable capability growth, reinforce knowledge transfer, and support sustained behavior change.
Success in this role requires strong business acumen, stakeholder management, colleague engagement, a flexible mindset, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution. You will establish meaningful success measures, evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, and leverage data and insights to confirm application of learning and achievement of business goals.
In addition, you may lead cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects that support organizational priorities, drive continuous improvement, and enhance team effectiveness. Working independently and collaboratively, you will manage multiple initiatives, provide thought leadership on learning and performance best practices, and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement and development across the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
Demonstrated success partnering with leaders to understand business priorities, identify performance needs, and develop solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
Experience in conducting needs assessments, investigating performance challenges, and performing root cause analysis to identify underlying causes and recommend targeted solutions
Proven ability to influence decisions, build stakeholder alignment, and establish credibility across functions and organizational levels without direct authority
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into actionable strategies, plans, and measurable success criteria
Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating learning, performance, change, or organizational effectiveness initiatives
Demonstrated ability to establish and leverage performance metrics, business measures, and data-driven insights to assess effectiveness and inform decision-making
Experience driving adoption, reinforcement, and sustained application of new skills, processes, or behaviors within an organization
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives, projects, or change efforts involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver results in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships with professionalism, diplomacy, sound judgment, and emotional intelligence
Versatility to contribute strategically and operationally across a range of initiatives, applying expertise where needed to support business and organizational objectives
Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written) required; additional language skills welcomed
