Job Description

Plays an instrumental role in the key planning process of the Company, namely Flow of Finished Goods. This position supports the stability of the daily operations and the availability of the Finished Good at the Distribution Center. 

Core Responsibilities: 

Production Plan Optimization 

  • Priority Alignment: Adjust Finished Goods plans based on real-time supply changes. 

  • Weekly Feasibility: Ensure the production plans are executable by managing: 

  • Efficient machinery utilization and facility capacity. 

  • Material availability and feasibility. 

  • Labor optimization to minimize idle people. 

  • Meeting target Change Over quantities. 

  • Inventory Management: Maintain Pre-Pack inventory within healthy target ranges. 

Execution & Monitoring 

  • New Product Introductions (NPI) & Programs: Ensure novelties and special programs are scheduled to meet agreed-upon timelines and quantities. 

  • Systems Management: Oversee and ensure SAP is updated (utilization factors and ramp-ups). 

  • Operational Support: Serve as a backup Production Planner as required to maintain continuity. 

Leadership & Continuous Improvement 

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Lead actions with operational teams and head planning-related projects or meetings. 

  • Talent Development: Train new planners and develop processes to enhance overall planning activities. 

  • Improvement Culture: Actively participate in LCI(Lean) and IMS initiatives. 

Do you have what it takes?  

  • Proven experience in production planning processes including Inventory Analysis 

  • Proven experience using a digital visualization tool such as Power BI or others. 

  • Experience working with SAP. 

  • Experience in advanced Excel. 

  • Experience in problem solving methodology. 

  • Demonstrate open and structured communication style (spoken and written) 

  • Attention to detail  

Note : Temporary 1 year.

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
