Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ

We are looking for aLead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ to lead hands-on delivery of Salesforce builds, turning architecture into reliable code and configuration. You will guide complex Salesforce CPQ work and large ARM migrations across Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems while meeting engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure complex Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds and external systems aligned to the agreed architecture
• Lead the engineering team through code reviews, coding standards enforcement, and hands-on mentoring for technical delivery
• Design and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP and legacy databases using batch, near real-time, and real-time patterns
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure delivered solutions match business outcomes
• Implement REST and SOAP APIs according to the defined API-led integration strategy
• Configure and troubleshoot integration tools and middleware platforms used to connect business systems
• Apply data integration and governance controls to maintain data quality and consistency throughout delivery
• Configure Salesforce CPQ components including product bundles, pricing rules, quote calculation logic, and approval workflows based on documented requirements
• Support sales and finance teams during build and testing cycles to validate the quote generation process
• Facilitate technical build and code review sessions and produce artifacts such as data model documentation and integration build specs
• Serve as lead engineer for large-scale data migration workstreams, overseeing the movement of complex datasets into Salesforce
• Develop secure, scalable migration tooling and scripts that handle large data volumes within security standards and platform limits
• Coordinate end-to-end data migration steps including profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation
• Act as the primary technical resource for data handling practices, archival implementation, and master data management build activities
• Coordinate hands-on release management tasks such as deployments, environment management, and go-live technical readiness for large-scale programs

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Salesforce development with 8-12 years in IT delivery
• Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration, including product bundles, pricing rules, and approval workflows
• Proven track record building and troubleshooting integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms
• Solid understanding of databases, integration middleware, and enterprise platforms such as ERP
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams through code reviews and to uphold coding standards and best practices
• Strong background in large-scale data migration, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation
• Hands-on capability to develop scalable and secure migration tooling and scripts for large data volumes
• Working knowledge of data governance controls that protect data quality and consistency
• Familiarity with master data management (MDM) build activities and archival implementation
• Practical experience coordinating release management activities, including deployments and environment management
• Proficiency in performance tuning, executing data migration scripts, and supporting release management for large-scale programs
