Position Title:Lead Oracle EBS Financials functional - Prospect to Report (Finance / Projects / Contract-to-Close)
Location:Kansas City, MO. ONSITE
Duration:Long Term Contract
 
Job description:
Seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Record-to-Report (R2R) Functional Lead to lead Finance application support and governance within a Managed Services environment. The role will be accountable for ensuring operational stability, financial process integrity, service excellence, and continuous improvement across Oracle EBS Financials.
 
Required Skills:

  • 10-15 years of Oracle EBS Financials functional experience.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle GL, FA, CM, Intercompany, Period Close, and Financial Reporting.
  • Experience leading AMS engagements and distributed support teams.
  • Strong accounting and finance process knowledge.
  • Proven client-facing consulting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ITIL-based Managed Service delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), OTBI, EB Tax, AP/AR/Projects integration to GL, bank reconciliation, FSG/BI Publisher, audit/SOX controls and Financial Reporting tools.
  • Integration knowledge involving Oracle EBS and third-party applications.
  • Automation, reporting, and continuous improvement experience.
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials migration initiatives.
  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, EPC, or project-based organizations.
  • Experience managing multi-country Finance support operations across North America and Mexico.
  • Prior involvement in Oracle transformation, assessment, or modernization program.
Role and responsibilities:
  • Lead Oracle EBS R2R support, enhancement, and service delivery activities.
  • Provide functional leadership across General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, and Financial Reporting.
  • Manage incidents, problem management, change requests, and minor enhancements.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive service improvements.
  • Collaborate with business, technical, reporting, and integration teams.
  • Monitor SLA/KPI compliance and participate in governance reviews.
