Primary Skills: Data Modeling, Data Normalization, RDBMS, SQL, Python, Tableau Job Description We are looking for an experiencedBusiness Systems Analyst (BSA) with6–9 years of experience, preferably with strong exposure to theUS Healthcare domain. The candidate should have hands-on experience indata modeling, database concepts, SQL, Python, and Tableau, with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, data engineers and reporting/BI teams to understand requirements, analyze healthcare data, define data structures and support data-driven business solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, understand and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Analyze business processes and translate requirements intodata and functional specifications.
  • Design and reviewconceptual, logical and physical data models.
  • Applydata normalization and database design principles.
  • Understand relationships between different entities/tables and define appropriate keys, relationships and constraints.
  • Work extensively withRDBMS and relational database concepts.
  • Write complexSQL queries for data extraction, validation and analysis.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation and validation to identify data quality issues.
  • UsePython for data analysis, manipulation, validation and automation where required.
  • Create and maintainTableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  • Work with large healthcare datasets and understand data relationships, business rules and data flows.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, QA, BI teams and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into technical/data requirements for development teams.
  • Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating data and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for data/reporting issues.
  • Prepare documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, data mapping documents, process flows and data dictionaries.
