The Opportunity:
We are seeking highly skilledCore Firmware Developers to join our team and work on cutting-edge embedded systems. This role requires deep expertise inEmbedded-C programming, strong knowledge oflow-level hardware interfaces, and the ability to design and optimize firmware for performance and reliability. Experience withRust is a plus, as we explore modern approaches to firmware safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintainembedded firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs.
  • Implement and optimizelow-level drivers for hardware interfaces such asI2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, and timers.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug hardware/software integration issues.
  • Ensurerobustness, efficiency, and scalability in firmware design.
  • Conductcode reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Document firmware architecture, design decisions, and technical specifications.
  • Explore and adoptRust for safety-critical firmware modules where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency inEmbedded-C programming with proven development experience.
  • Solid understanding oflow-level hardware development and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
  • Experience withRTOS or bare-metal firmware development.
  • Hands-on experience withdebugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Familiarity withversion control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
