Compensation Range

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to be responsible for aiding in the design, development, delivery, and sustainment of training programs for client-facing and non-client-facing roles across the Commercial segment.

Essential Functions

• Support collaborative efforts that support the overall Commercial training and change strategy for onboarding, continuing education, sales effectiveness, systems adoption, and business process transformation
• Develop and execute training programs of low to moderate complexity with collaboration from stakeholders
• Design, develop, and deliver training content, including but not limited to instructor-led training materials (both classroom and virtual), quick reference guides, product simulations, job aids, videos, and eLearning courses
• Help gather and assess learning and change requirements, audience needs, stakeholder impacts, business objectives, and adoption risks to provide recommendations grounded in adult learning principles and change management practices
• Support development and implementation of change management strategies, standards, and best practices for low to moderately complex Commercial initiatives; support direct leadership on higher complexity initiatives as needed
• Ensure alignment between project plans, training plans, communication plans, and change management plans by collaborating closely with project managers and functional leads
• Manage training and change initiatives to deliver blended learning and adoption solutions that support business objectives, including coordinating stakeholders, recommending modalities, testing content, obtaining user feedback, and adapting solutions to targeted audiences
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with lines of business, leaders, project teams, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners to ensure training and change activities appropriately support Commercial objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Strong working knowledge in instructional design tools such as Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to design, develop & deliver training solutions using a variety of modalities with strong attention to detail and high level of organization
• Ability to communicate effectively with varying roles & levels throughout the organization
• Knowledge of training methodology and technology, adult learning principles and small group dynamics, and instructional design principles
• Working knowledge in instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate preferred
• Strong customer service skills in order to make customers (internal and external) and their needs a primary focus
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Access, Outlook)  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 3+ years in training, consulting, or project roles supporting system or business process transformation change initiatives required
• Experience with Salesforce or other training systems required
• Prosci or other agreed-upon Change Management Practitioner Certification required, or able to obtain within 12 months of hire

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $34.85 to $46.40 per hour.
