The Role: Strategic Leadership & Operational ExcellenceÂ
As the Director of Investigations, you will be the primary investigative and operational touchstone for our firm (p. 1). You will lead a team of PIs, manage day-to-day functions, and spearhead criminal, civil, and proprietary investigations.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Operational Management:Â Lead investigative teams, conduct case intakes, and oversee 1099 investigators.Â
- Financial Oversight: Manage division budgets, track case profitability, and drive growth margins .Â
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Lauth at professional conferences and networking events throughout Indiana and beyond .Â
- Market Growth:Â Oversee marketing campaigns and leverage CRM/AI tools to expand our client base.Â
Who You AreÂ
- An Indy-Ready Leader: You are either a current resident or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis area to lead from the front.Â
- Strategic Change Agent: You stay ahead of innovative investigative trends and cutting-edge technologies.Â
- Adept Communicator: You possess the finesse to navigate sensitive situations and the charisma to build lasting partnerships.Â
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (US-accredited) required; MBA is a plus.Â
- Experience:Â 5+ years of former law enforcement (commander level preferred) or significant corporate leadership experience.Â
- 5+ years or investigations and surveillance. Â
- Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets, labor KPIs, and operating margins .Â
- Flexibility: Valid driver's license and the ability to be on-call 24/7 with extensive travel as required .Â
- Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (Based on experience).Â
