Land Survey Technician Intern

L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc.is located in Novato, Marin County, California. Approaching thirty years doing business throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. is a well-established professional Land Surveying firm seeking aLand Surveyor Technician internshippursuant to a career as a Professional Land Surveyor. This position may be tailored to the individual's needs.

• Responsible for assisting Project Surveyor with research, field, and office work.
• Work closely with the Principle Land Surveyor responsible for the work.
• Work produced by L.A. Stevens & Associates, Inc. includes simple & complex boundaries, land title surveys (ALTA), topographic mapping, least squares, adjustments, monitoring, forensic, GPS, Elevation Certificates, map preparation, legal descriptions, and construction staking.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift loads of 40+ pounds and be able to work in and around poison oak.
• Will be operating one of our company vehicles and must have a clean driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the State in which the applicant’s driver’s license is issued.
• Must demonstrate skill in the following areas:
• AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• MS Office Suite.
• Written and Verbal Communication.
