Max Bill Rate: ***/hour

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- Someone with a combination of DBA, architect, and developer experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL and PL/SQL, with expertise in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Agent, and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Redgate, or Idera.
- Solid understanding of database security, backup strategies, recovery models, and high availability configurations.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, PowerShell scripting, and/or Azure SQL is a plus.
- Proven ability to enforce development standards across teams.

Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.

- Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use laptop and be prepared to share screen if asked. 2nd round interviews may be held in-person. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.
- Duration: 1 year with possible extension
- Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Onsite days are Wednesdays and Thursdays,
- Local candidates ONLY. Candidates must be located within 2 hours of Lansing, MI at time of submission.
