Your Role

We are looking for aPayroll Operations Manager (m/f/d) to lead and streamline internal payroll projects, drive data accuracy, and collaborate with our partners to maximize operational efficiency. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging cross-functional data systems, ensuring seamless client onboarding, and scaling our core payroll operations.

Please note: This is a hybrid position based at our office in Berlin, Germany.

Main tasks:

• Own the execution ofpayroll data projects to streamline internal workflows and ensure top-quality data controls across3rd-party and internal applications.
• Manageend-to-end client onboarding and streamline data exchanges to effectively support ourIn-Country Partners (ICPs).
• Oversee and executemulti-market payroll cycles accurately while resolving data discrepancies to guaranteetop-tier service quality.
• Drive theautomation of cross-functional tools to improve Lano’s efficiency and remove operational friction.
• Balance high-level operational oversight with meticulousattention to detail to maintain flawless execution across both routine and new tasks.

Your profile:

• Data-driven mindset with proven hands-on experience indata processing.
• Strong background inclient- or partner-facing roles with excellent communication skills.
• Tech-savvy across various modernautomation tools and software.
• Advanced knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel and its complex functions.
• Extremely detail-oriented with an uncompromising focus on quality.
• Ability to switch seamlessly betweenmacro-level strategy andmicro-level execution.
• Curious mindset with a strong inner drive to solve complex problems.
• High adaptability and the ability to excel at both new and repetitive tasks.

Nice to have:

• Experience with payroll and salary data
• Coding proficiency
• Experience with BI, automation and AI apps
