Job Description:

World VisionJapan together withWahanaVisi Indonesia through Mangrove Adaptive and Resilient Village for Enhanced Livelihoods (MARVEL) developed a mangrove ecosystem rehabilitation and livelihood improvement program. This program is implemented inNorthJakarta  District with a duration of60months fromMay 2025 – April2030.The main activitiesare to carry outlivelihood strengthening andmangrove rehabilitation and conservation efforts in1 village, where the land condition is currently active and abandoned ponds.Project Coordinatorwillgenerally responsible foroverall project implementation. In technical scope, he/she will bedirectly implementing community development activities, such as community engagement,capacity building, and livelihood interventions. 

The Qualifications :

• Bachelor Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Social Science, Development Planning, or other relevant fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experiences in community development program or mangrove interventions.

• Extensive knowledge in community development or community economic empowerment.

• Having experiences in communication and/or coordination with sub-national government bodies, development partners, and communities.

• Strong report formulation skill and data analysis.

• Familiar with community economic empowerment approach.

• Having experiences in project management and implementation.

• Strong computer literacy skills, including MS Office, email, and internet.

• Good knowledge in mangrove intervention program is beneficial.

• Having experiences in working with NGO is a plus.
