Role Overview

We are looking for seniorUS-qualified legal professionals to lead small teams responsible for creating and reviewing high-difficulty legal tasks and gold-standard solutions for an AI training and evaluation project.

This is both ahands-on legal expert andteam leadership role. You will personally contribute complex legal work while managing a pod of approximately 16–20 contributors, reviewing quality, calibrating outputs, coaching team members, and ensuring consistent professional standards across contract, legal-analysis, and regulatory tasks.

CONTRACT: Short-term contractor assignment, 6 weeks

COMMITMENT: At least 4 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week, including 4 hours of PST overlap

Responsibilities

• Lead a pod of approximately16–20 legal contributors.
• Personally create high-difficulty legal tasks andgold-standard solutions.
• Develop and refine work involvingcontract drafting, legal analysis, regulatory interpretation, and related legal workflows.
• Review outputs for legal accuracy, reasoning depth, practical applicability, and consistency.
• Establish and maintain evaluation criteria, rubrics, and reference standards.
• Coach team members and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Manage priorities, delegation, workflow, and delivery quality across the pod.
• Identify recurring quality issues, edge cases, and ambiguous evaluation criteria.
• Escalate complex or unresolved matters to senior functional leadership where appropriate.
• Drive continuous improvement across task creation, review, calibration, and QA processes.

• 10+ years of legal practice experience, ideally at Senior Associate, Counsel, or equivalent level.
• JD or equivalent legal qualification.
• ActiveUS bar admission.
• Strong expertise incontract drafting, legal analysis, and regulatory interpretation.
