Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilledKnowledge Graph Architect – Pharma Market Accesswith strong expertise inKnowledge Graphs (Neo4j or Amazon Neptune) andontology-driven data modelling, combined with deeppharmaceutical domain knowledge—especially in Market Access.
This role requires bridging the gap betweenbusiness stakeholders and technical teams, translating complexmarket access use cases into scalable data and graph architectures that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
Functional & Domain Leadership
- Work closely withmarket access, commercial, and business teams to understand key problems
- Translate business requirements intostructured data models, ontologies, and graph schemas
- Act as afunctional SME for pharma market access concepts
Knowledge Graph & Data Architecture
- Design and implemententerprise knowledge graph solutions usingNeo4j or Amazon Neptune
- Definegraph data models, including nodes, relationships, and properties aligned to business use cases
- Build and maintainontology frameworks capturing domain semantics and relationships
- Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of graph-based architectures
- Developdomain ontologies and taxonomies to standardize business terminology
- Align multiple data sources into aunified semantic layer
- Enablecontext-driven insights through semantic enrichment of data
- DefineKPIs and metrics frameworks aligned to business outcomes
- Collaborate with data engineers and AI/ML teams to operationalize solutions
5.Data Integration & Governance
· Ensuredata quality, lineage, and governance standards
· Establish best practices fordata modeling and graph ingestion pipelines
6.Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key liaison between:
- Business teams
- Data engineering teams
- AI/analytics teams
- Supportclient discussions, workshops, and solution presentations
- Drive adoption of knowledge graph-based solutions across stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience withKnowledge Graph technologies:
- Neo4j (preferred) or Amazon Neptune
- Proficiency in:
- Cypher / SPARQL / Gremlin
- Graph data modeling and schema design
- Experience with:
- Data integration and pipeline design
- Graph RAG or semantic search (good to have)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Functional & Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding ofPharma Market Access domain
- Ability to mapbusiness processes to data structures and graph models
Soft Skills
- Strong ability totranslate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working inclient-facing roles and cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience inpharmaceutical analytics or consulting
- Exposure toAI/ML and Generative AI use cases (Graph RAG, knowledge-driven AI)
- Experience definingenterprise ontologies or semantic layers
- Certifications in cloud or data architecture are a plus
