The Berkeley is seeking a compassionate and experiencedLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Residential Care Coordinator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to combineleadership, resident advocacy, and team coordination. You will play an important role in ensuring residents receive safe, personalized, and compassionate care while supporting our health care team and building.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the health care team.
- Assess residents and monitor changing care needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and dressings as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate resident care plans and follow up.
- Coordinate staffing and schedules to ensure appropriate care coverage.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance support to care team members.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and staff.
- Assist with operational leadership and continuity when required.
What We're Looking For
- CurrentLPN registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN).
- Previous supervisory, charge, or leadership experience is preferred.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting older adults and enhancing their quality of life.
