Senior POS Analyst

Position Summary:
Tidal Wave Auto Spa is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior POS Analyst to support the management, optimization, and performance of point-of-sale (POS) systems across all locations. This role will be responsible for analyzing transaction data, improving system functionality, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability. The Senior POS Analyst will collaborate with operations, finance, IT, and marketing teams to enhance system performance and support data-driven decision-making while upholding Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s high standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze POS data and transaction trends to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Manage and support POS system configurations, updates, and enhancements.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across POS platforms.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, coordinating with IT and vendors for resolution.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to sales, transactions, and site performance.
• Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to support promotions, pricing, and campaigns within POS systems.
• Assist with system integrations between POS, CRM, and financial systems.
• Support new site openings and POS implementations, including setup and testing.
• Document system processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Train end users on POS functionality and provide ongoing support.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and data privacy requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience working with POS systems, business systems analysis, or data analysis.
• Experience in retail, multi-location, or service-based industries preferred.
• Experience supporting system implementations and integrations preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of POS systems and transaction processing.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Understanding of system integrations and data flows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours during system updates, implementations, or reporting cycles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Additional Information
This role may require work outside of normal business hours during system deployments, updates, or troubleshooting activities.
This role may involve coordination with multiple locations, vendors, and internal teams to support POS system functionality and performance.
