Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly talented engineer to join ourGlobal Product Support (GPS) team.
Team’s responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintainingexpert‑level knowledge of our next generation & Legacy platforms and sub system.

• Leadingcomplex and systematic escalations together with cross functional design engineering team.

• Delivering knowledge and methodologies toApplied Materials customer engineers worldwide, ensuring improved tool health, performance, and stability

• Representing thevoice of the field in all engineering review discussions and activities

• Developing newprocedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) &Internal Service Bulletin (ISB)to support new & legacy platform/ subsystems

• Creating and maintaining procedures forSafety, Startups, Installation, Calibration, Troubleshooting and Maintenance.

• Develop initial training package for new products and work withGlobal Technical Training (GTT)to develop training class.  

• Train Customer Engineers (CEs), Process Engineers (PSEs) and Technical Product Support (TPS) assigned to customers who will receive ELS Shipments, prior to shipping.

Identifycritical spares parts that require to be stocked by AGS and work with them to ensure parts are stocked in correct locations

Our Group

• Providesexpert-level support to semiconductor various Mainframes & sub systems.

• Works closely with Engineering team on assigned technical projects.

• Acts as an intermediary between customers and engineering team by providingtechnical support, documentation, and expertise to field engineers troubleshooting.

What you'll be doing?

• Participate in new build and first startups at customer sites.

• Create and maintainhardware and service procedures for field use

• Participate in Engineering development process and ensure allfield aspects and serviceability requirements are incorporated.

• Solve technical problems using established procedures, engineering judgment, and accumulated field experience.

• Analyze information and apply best-known practices to make decisions and support escalations.

What you should have?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

• 7-10 years of experience

• Strong conceptual knowledge of engineering theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline

• Ability to apply general business understanding from prior experience or education

• Strong interpersonal skills:clear communication,asking questions, validating understanding

• A proactive, dedicated approach; team player; motivated to expand technical knowledge and drive data‑based decisions

• Ability to work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines and team objectives
