The At-Risk Services 504 Coordinator role is to work with staff to improve educational outcomes for all students through high-quality interventions that are matched to studentsā academic, social-emotional, and behavior needs.REQUIRED CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:Ā None required

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: Ohio resident preferredĀ
Will consider applicants from a surrounding state to Ohio within one hundred miles from the Ohio border.Ā
Border states include Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana.Ā
Applicants must be able to meet travel requirements and be willing and able to obtain Ohio Certification.Ā

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ā Ā Ā
Develop, revise, and format all paperwork to service the 504 plans at OHVAĀ Ā
Maintain Section 504/ADA CompliancyĀ Ā
Guides 504 referral, evaluation, and service delivery processĀ Ā
Develop, write, and implement accommodations of a 504 plan(s)Ā Ā
Schedule yearly reviews on all 504 plansĀ Ā
Maintain the 504 data base, all student files (forms, plans, tracking, testing accommodations)Ā Ā
Maintain open communication with allĀ families'Ā w/questions about existing or future 504 plansĀ Ā
Collect the necessary information that qualifies a student for aĀ 504-accommodationĀ planĀ Ā
Provide training/guidelines about procedures and eligibility requirements for 504 plans to staff.Ā Ā
Ensure 504 plan accommodations are in place in educational and testing settingĀ Ā
Receive and review a copy of all 504 plans from other schools for new studentsĀ Ā
Coordinate school efforts to comply with Section 504 regulations including training of staffĀ Ā Ā
Ā
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ā Ā Ā
Bachelor's degree in health, Education, or Social ServicesĀ ANDĀ
3 or more years of experience in the area of health or educationĀ Ā
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiencyĀ
The ability to clear required background checkĀ

Strong presentation skillsĀ Ā
Organizational skills, multi-tasking abilitiesĀ Ā
Ability to work without direct supervisionĀ Ā

Three (3) years of directly related experience in an online school settingĀ
