Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor - West Midlands
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (FTE)
There will be some homeābased working; however, regular travel to learnersā workplaces will be required. The successful candidate must therefore be based within the West Midlands region.

Weāre on the lookout for a dedicatedĀ Early Years Skills Coach/TutorĀ to join our team. In this role, youāll play a key part in inspiring and supporting apprentices as they work towards their qualifications. From delivering dynamic training sessions to providing one-to-one coaching and assessment, youāll be instrumental in guiding learners towards success.
What Youāll Do:
ā Deliver engaging and interactive group training sessions, including induction
ā Support apprentices through one-to-one coaching and workplace visits
ā Assess and provide feedback on apprenticesā portfolios
ā Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2
ā Monitor progress, set challenging targets, and help learners achieve their goals
ā Maintain high levels of apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement
What Weāre Looking For:
š¹ A background in Early Years with at leastĀ two yearsā experienceĀ in the sector within the last three years
š¹ Experience delivering training toĀ 16+ learners and adults
š¹ A passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices to reach their full potential
š¹ AĀ Level 3 Teaching QualificationĀ (or willingness to achieve within six months)
š¹ AĀ TAQA or equivalent assessor qualificationĀ (or willingness to achieve within six months)
š¹ Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and engaging approach
As this is aĀ peripatetic role, youāll need aĀ full driving licence and access to a car, as training will take place across employer locations.
