Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 

There will be some home‑based working; however, regular travel to learners’ workplaces will be required. The successful candidate must therefore be based within the West Midlands region.

We’re on the lookout for a dedicatedĀ Early Years Skills Coach/TutorĀ to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in inspiring and supporting apprentices as they work towards their qualifications. From delivering dynamic training sessions to providing one-to-one coaching and assessment, you’ll be instrumental in guiding learners towards success.

What You’ll Do:

āœ” Deliver engaging and interactive group training sessions, including induction
āœ” Support apprentices through one-to-one coaching and workplace visits
āœ” Assess and provide feedback on apprentices’ portfolios
āœ” Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2
āœ” Monitor progress, set challenging targets, and help learners achieve their goals
āœ” Maintain high levels of apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement

What We’re Looking For:

šŸ”¹ A background in Early Years with at leastĀ two years’ experienceĀ in the sector within the last three years
šŸ”¹ Experience delivering training toĀ 16+ learners and adults
šŸ”¹ A passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices to reach their full potential
šŸ”¹ AĀ Level 3 Teaching QualificationĀ (or willingness to achieve within six months)
šŸ”¹ AĀ TAQA or equivalent assessor qualificationĀ (or willingness to achieve within six months)
šŸ”¹ Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and engaging approach

As this is aĀ peripatetic role, you’ll need aĀ full driving licence and access to a car, as training will take place across employer locations.
