IV&V Software Engineer

Job Description

The IV&V Software Engineer supports independent verification and validation activities formission-critical defense system software at a government test facility on Redstone Arsenal. Employed under theIndependent Verification & Validation (IV&V) team, this role assists in evaluating software requirements, implementation, and testing to ensure compliance with system specifications, quality standards, and program objectives.

The position provides hands-on exposure to formal qualification testing, independent analysis, and participation in major program activities supportingcomplex, integrated software and hardware systems.

Basic Candidate Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain if applicable)
• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Computer Information Systems
