As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
  
• Experience in extracting and analyzing sets of data with SQL and in designing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) flows.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience with technical risk, governance, and compliance processes.
  
• Strategic thinking and the ability to handle complex problems across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to create highly-functional dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights.
  
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.
• Strong project and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and other members in TechRisk Data Engineering organization to identify, source, model, extract, transform, and load necessary risk and compliance data (e.g., issues, incidents, assessments, measurements, etc.).
• Propose and implement data governance strategies and mechanisms for ensuring high quality risk and compliance data across our product portfolio.
  
• Transform various input data sets into consistent data and risk models.
• Develop dashboards and provide insights to clients as part of engagements.
• Support and guide partner teams to help drive a multi-tenant data warehouse approach.
