In a Nutshell :
- The Electrode Industrialization Engineer will be entrusted with the ownership of the electrode design and its integration within product/process teams. This role involves steering the design from its end of pilot line stage ( B Samples) to mass production stage (C & D Samples) ensuring a thorough validation and review of the design’s performance and manufacturability at each stage with the relevant stakeholders.
- The engineer will possess the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the design and manufacturing process during each phase of scale-up. As the Electrode Industrialization Engineer, the engineer will oversee all cell projects within the Gigafactory, ensuring its successful execution and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of electrode manufacturing processes, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
Missions :
- Interface/liaison with process team.
- In charge of making sure the list of characteristics is correctly being implemented.
- Ensure efficient participation at design reviews of product/process/quality.
- Creation of action plan and mitigation to cover gaps between List of characteristics/control plan/Inline check.
- Continuous improvement of process design via constant alignment with process owners and customer needs.
- DoE plan and execution for electrode optimization.
- Support through data analysis/DoE planning the ramp up of pilot line and GF.
- Analysis of process capabilities and propose deviations or design changes to improve product design or manufacturability.
- 8D support as product representative.
- Product Validation / Design Vérification
