Senior SDET

We are seeking a Senior SDET to drive hands-on automation and quality engineering execution for Saviynt’s cloud-native Identity Security platform. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks that ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our platform.

You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to implement automation-first testing practices, contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality, and deliver measurable improvements to test coverage and release confidence. You will also actively leverage AI-powered development and testing tools to accelerate your own productivity and the quality of your automation work.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5–8+ years of experience in software test automation, including hands-on framework development.

• Practical experience withAI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Amazon Q Developer, or Cursor.

• Solid experience building and maintaining scalabletest automation frameworks using tools such asPlaywright, PyTest, Robot Framework, or Karate.

• Strong programming skills inJava and Python (Groovy a plus).

• Experience testingREST APIs, microservices, and distributed cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Working knowledge ofCI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

• Experience withdatabase validation, test data management, and large-scale automation.

• Familiarity withperformance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

• Familiarity withsecurity and accessibility testing (SAST, DAST, WCAG, axe-core).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Test Automation Development & Execution

• Design, build, and maintainscalable automationacross APIs, web UI, and backend services.

• Executeautomation strategies supporting Saviynt’s identity platform (IGA, PAM, AAG, ISPM, NHI, RBAC, secrets management).

• Contribute to and help evolve anautomation roadmap aligned with product scalability, reliability, and security goals.

AI-Assisted Test Development

• Actively useAI-powered developer tools (Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, test intelligence platforms) to accelerate automation work.

• Apply intelligent automation techniques to improvetest generation, maintenance, and diagnostics.

Quality Engineering Execution

• Execute testing acrossfunctional, regression, performance, security, and resiliency scenarios.

• Contribute toshift-left testing by integrating automation and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows.

• Identify and resolve issues affectingtest stability, observability, and feedback loops.

CI/CD & Pipeline Quality

• Collaborate with Engineering and SRE to identifycoverage gaps, reliability risks, and release quality metrics.

• Contribute to the optimization ofCI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows for rapid, safe releases.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Participate in technical reviews of automation frameworks, test plans, and engineering processes.

• Share knowledge and support teammates to helpincrease automation maturity and engineering excellence.

• Contribute to anautomation-first culture within your team.
