Position Summary

Seeking an experienced field foreman to lead crews installingstairs, railings, and miscellaneous metalwork at construction sites. This position oversees daily field operations, crew coordination, installation quality, and job-site safety while working with general contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field crews performing miscellaneous metals installation.
• Lead installation of stairs, railings, and related metal components.
• Coordinate daily work activities with the General Contractor.
• Review blueprints and verify proper layout, measurements, and installation.
• Plan crew assignments and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment.
• Confirm required crew certifications and ensure site requirements are followed.
• Enforce PPE requirements and project-specific safety procedures.
• Conduct or participate in toolbox talks and daily safety discussions.
• Complete required field and vehicle inspection reports.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Monitor workmanship and address installation or job-site issues.
• Serve as the field safety point of contact for the crew.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience inmiscellaneous metals preferred.
• Previous foreman or crew-supervision experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and safety documentation.
• Strong measurement and basic math skills, including working with angles and degrees.
• Working knowledge ofAWS D1.1.
• Familiarity with welding processes including:
  • SMAW
  • FCAW
  • GMAW
  • GTAW
  • Current welding certifications or ability to successfully pass a weld test.
  • Strong commitment to job-site safety, quality, and teamwork.
